The Princess, The Mupp Cheese and The Pea

The Westcott Sisters

Sisters from birth and friends from the start. They can teach us a thing or two about what it is like to have a sister, be a sister, be a twin sister, an older sister and a younger sister.

I had a lot of fun with this shoot! I was inspired by little Lauren who  never gave  up her goal to swing, climb, run, jump and have fun. I was intrigued by Kayla's ability to take the lead but at the same time be a confident to her baby sisters Emma and Lauren while Emma gleamed with laughter and happiness and never relented. She had the determination to do all of the above and convince both her sisters to do the same.
But, with all this said I am happy to say that sharing my afternoon with the Westcott sisters was a trip down memory lane . I have to admit that I was exhausted but it was worth it. It reminded of my innocence, my childhood and the relationship I had with my own sister as a child.

The Princess

The Mupp Cheese

I decided that Lauren should be the Mupp Cheese.

"I am not going to fit on the tree" - Lauren
" Yes,,,,, you will... come on... just climb up.. climb up." Emma

"Just climb up Lauren... You can do it. There is room (moving) look." Kayla

"No, you did not save room for me (looking up at them). Forget it" (walking towards the swing).

"Lauren, do not be a Mupp Cheese" -me
"What is a Mupp Cheese?" Lauren

"It's the combination between a Muppet and piece of Cheese." me

"What? What kind of cheese?" (laughing) Lauren

"Any kind you like" - me

"I like Swiss cheese."  Lauren

Great, Swiss cheese it is. -me

"hahaah OK"  Lauren  running and  laughing  she headed toward the tree.
